Running your network

Sending an invite

Invite prospects to your network by email or share link, and set the membership plans they join on.

As a network owner you invite prospects straight from your dashboard. Every invite is tied to one or more membership plans, which set the terms the prospect joins under.

The invite email carries your network's own logo, headline, and colours. Set these under Settings > Network > Invite customization.

Before you start: membership plans

Every invite needs at least one membership plan, so create your plans first under Settings > Network > Membership plans.

Only plans with Active status appear on the invite screen. Draft plans do not show and cannot be selected.

Creating a membership plan

  1. Go to Settings > Network > Membership plans and click Create plan to open the plan builder.
  2. Fill in the plan details:
    • Name, for example Starter, Professional, or Enterprise.
    • Handle, a unique identifier for the plan.
    • Description (optional).
    • Price (ZAR) and billing interval: monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually.
    • Registration fee (optional), a once-off charge on first sign-up. Leave blank for no fee.
    • Network commission rate % (optional), the percentage your network takes on member product sales. Leave blank for no commission.
    • Status: leave as Draft while you configure, and switch to Active when it should appear on the invite screen.
  3. Set the platform subscription role, for example vendor or producer. This is the role members join under, and it filters which platform subscription plans you can grant them.
  4. Set platform subscription granted on join if the plan should hand members a platform subscription the moment they join. Only subscription plans matching the role you chose above appear here, so this field looks empty if you have not set a role yet or no matching plans exist. Leave it blank to grant nothing automatically.
  5. Set trial days if you want to offer a free trial before billing starts.
  6. Set vendor limits if you need them. Max products can stay Unlimited or be capped at a number.
  7. Set sort order (optional) to control where this plan sits relative to the others, and toggle Default plan on if it should be the plan offered to new members by default.
  8. Review included memberships, any approved partner memberships automatically offered to new sign-ups on this plan.
  9. Click Create plan to save.

See Membership plans for more on what a plan can bundle.

Method 1: invite by email

  1. Go to Network > Invites in the sidebar and click Invite. This opens the Invite to network page.
  2. Enter one or more prospect email addresses. You can invite several prospects at once.
  3. Select one or more membership plans to offer. If you select more than one, the prospect chooses which plan to join under.
  4. Click Send invites.

Each prospect receives an invite email in your network's branding, with an Accept invitation button.

A share link works anywhere: pasted into an email, sent over WhatsApp, or printed on a poster or flyer. Share link only appears once your network has a marketplace handle set up.

  1. Go to Network > Invites in the sidebar and click Share link.
  2. Copy the link.
  3. Share it however suits the prospect.

Whoever opens the link lands on your network's invite page, where they click Get started to begin registration.

What happens next

The prospect completes four registration steps: create account, verify, company details, and add location. They then land on a success screen, which does not redirect to their dashboard on its own, so they click through from there.

Depending on your network and the plan, that screen may also ask them to accept your membership terms (on free and paid plans alike) and to provide network numbers if you request them.

On a paid plan the screen shows a single button, Complete membership payment. They are not a full member until that payment goes through.

Once those steps are done, the prospect converts into a full member and appears on your members list.

Any benefits your network offers are not applied automatically. Members claim them separately from the network's benefits page.
